CORBETT, Catherine Mary - 90, Whitney Pier, died Saturday, November 13, 2004. Born in Lakeview, Harbour Main, NL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Johanna (Corbett) Fewer. Surviving are daughter, Mary; sons, Thomas, Patrick, Bill; sisters, Mrs. Bridget Wetle, Mrs. Loretta Cybak, Mrs. Helen Hunt; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Kay was predeceased by her husband, William in 1973; daughter, Catherine; brother, Richard; sister, Madelyne. Visitation today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Sydney. Funeral mass Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Holy Redeemer Church. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

KAY CORBETT - 90 - Whitney Pier - Catherine Mary Corbett, 90, of 37 Cameron Street, Whitney Pier, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday November 13, 2004, surrounded by her family. Born in Lakeview, Harbor Main, NFLD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Johanna (Corbett) Fewer. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish in Sydney. "Gram" raised her family in a loving and giving way that will always be remembered by family and friends. Surviving are one daughter Mary (James) Doyle of Peabody, Mass, three sons Thomas (Dorothy) of Stoughton, Mass, Patrick of
Sydney and Bill at home. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bridget Wetle of Oregon, Mrs. Loretta Cybak of Ohio and Mrs. Helen Hunt of Markham, Ontario, and by 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Kay was predeceased by her husband William in 1973 and by one daughter Catherine Pickup, one brother Richard and one sister Madelyne. Visitation for the late Kay Corbett will be held today (Monday) from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Sydney. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in Holy Redeemer Church, with Fr. Errol MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Donations in memory of Kay may be made to the IWK.
